Sunday May 19th’s lineup starts with Beautiful Bobby Blackmon followed by Little Jake & The Soul Searchers.

Blackmon’s top tier guitar prowess has made him a sideman alongside Jimmy Reed, Johnny Taylor, and Lou Rawls. Recently opening shows for B.B. King, the Robert Randoph Band, and Buddy Guy, Blackmon fronts his current band with style and to critical praise.

Due to inclement weather, the Gainesville Jazz Festival has been rescheduled and revised.  Check the festival website for further news, here.  Little Jake and the band are not available for the new date, but you can find catch them Friday May 11th at Dos Mamas Eastside Eatery at 8 PM.

The 11th annual Gainesville Jazz Festival will be held Saturday May 4th at the Tioga Town Center in Gainesville, FL. The evening starts at 6pm with performances by Hot Club de Ville, the Zac Chester Quartet, Ben Champion Quartet, Groove Therapy, and a performance by Little Jake & The Soul Searchers to finnish the event.
